HotSwell are a new surf fore-casting website company, they wanted a brand that would fit straight into the current surf trends but they also wanted to look established.
The idea was inspired from when an off shore wind hits the face of a wave, not only does it push up the wave, it creates spray, we replaced the spray with the flames which visually translates the company name.
We also created a stand alone typographic logo to be used with or without the ident. This gives more flexibility when applying the brand to printed materials and clothing ranges. We also helped with skinning the website and designing printed material, point of sale and web banners.
